These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FindCostSeg.com and any associated services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

FindCostSeg is an informational technology platform that connects users with independent financial professionals, including but not limited to accountants, cost segregation providers, real estate coaches, and financial advisors (“Professionals”).

Important Disclaimers:

• FindCostSeg does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.

• FindCostSeg is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, accounting firm, or provider of CFO services.

• FindCostSeg does not recommend or assign specific Professionals to users. Users are solely responsible for selecting which Professional(s) to engage.

2. Professional Listings & User Responsibilities

FindCostSeg conducts a basic review of Professional applications and verifies select credentials where possible. However:

• Users are solely responsible for performing independent due diligence before engaging any Professional.

• We encourage users to verify credentials using official sources such as:

  • ASCSP – American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals

  • IRS Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers

  • SEC Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD)

  • AICPA or relevant state CPA boards

3. Responsibilities of Professionals

Professionals listed on the Platform are required to:

• Maintain all necessary and valid licenses or certifications.

• Adhere to applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

• Ensure that all profile information is accurate and promptly updated.

Note: FindCostSeg does not continuously monitor or verify a Professional’s compliance after initial approval.

4. Compensation Disclosure

• Some Professionals may pay fees for additional exposure or lead generation services on the Platform.

• These paid features do not influence rankings or recommendations, as FindCostSeg does not offer preferential matching.

• Users should be aware that such compensation may create a material conflict of interest and should evaluate all Professionals independently.

5. Use of Third-Party Services

FindCostSeg leverages third-party service providers, including but not limited to:

• Google Analytics (data analytics)

• Wix (website infrastructure)

• Stripe (payment processing)

These services are governed by their own privacy policies. FindCostSeg does not control or accept responsibility for how third parties collect, use, or store your data.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Advice or Fiduciary Relationship

• FindCostSeg does not offer professional advice or act as a fiduciary.

• No client, advisor, or legal relationship is formed between you and FindCostSeg through use of the Platform.

Independent Verification Required

• While we may verify select credentials, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of information provided.

• Users must independently verify and evaluate any Professional listed on the Platform.

No Endorsements or Guarantees

• Listing on FindCostSeg does not constitute endorsement or guarantee of quality.

• Users assume full responsibility and risk when engaging with a Professional.

• FindCostSeg is not liable for any financial loss, damage, or claim resulting from such engagements.

7. Termination and Changes to Terms

• FindCostSeg reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any user or Professional who violates these Terms.

• We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform or communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

• Arbitration Agreement: Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in New York, NY, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or collective legal proceedings.
